The Ultimate Guide to Getting the Most Out of WellFest 2026
The energy is building, the mats are being rolled out, and the Royal Hospital Kilmainham is about to transform into Ireland’s ultimate playground for the soul. WellFest 2026 is officially around the corner!
Whether you’re a seasoned “WellFester” or a first-timer wondering if you’re “fit enough” (spoiler: you absolutely are), this weekend is about more than just sweat—it’s about connection, discovery, and finding what makes you feel alive.
To help you navigate the weekend like a pro, we’ve put together the essential guide to surviving and thriving at WellFest.
1. Build Your Personal Timetable (But Stay Flexible!)
With over 15 stages featuring everything from high-octane HIIT at the Main Stage to mindful meditation in the WellMind area, the FOMO is real.
-
Pick your “Non-Negotiables”: Choose two or three “must-see” presenters each day.
-
Leave room for the unknown: Some of the best WellFest moments happen when you stumble into a workshop you’ve never heard of. Ever tried animal flow or laughter yoga? Now is the time.
2. Fuel Like an Athlete, Eat Like a Foodie
The WellFood area is a destination in itself. While it’s tempting to power through sessions on caffeine and vibes, your body will thank you for real fuel.
-
Hydration is King: Bring a reusable water bottle. We have refill stations across the site to keep you hydrated without the plastic waste.
-
Sample Everything: From protein-packed treats to the best local Irish plant-based eats, make sure you take a dedicated “food hour” to actually sit down and enjoy the atmosphere.
3. What’s in the Bag?
Success at WellFest is all about the layers. Irish weather likes to keep us on our toes!
-
The Essentials: A yoga mat (strapped to your back is the unofficial WellFest uniform), sunscreen (trust us, that Dublin sun can bite!), and a light waterproof layer.
-
The “Pro” Move: Bring a spare pair of socks and a dry t-shirt. Changing into fresh gear halfway through the day is a total game-changer for your energy levels.
4. Connection Over Competition
Remember: WellFest isn’t a race. It’s not about who can hold the longest handstand or who has the flashiest leggings.
-
Go Solo or Group Up: It’s one of the friendliest festivals in the world. If you’re coming alone, strike up a conversation in the queue for a smoothie—you’ll have a new “wellie” buddy in minutes.
-
Rest is a Skill: If you need to skip a session to lie on the grass and soak in the music, do it. Listening to your body is the ultimate form of wellness.
Don’t Miss the Village
Beyond the workouts, make sure to explore the WellVillage. It’s the heart of the festival where you can meet your favorite Irish brands, grab exclusive festival discounts, and maybe even snag a high-five from our headliners.
We can’t wait to see you on the grass!
